Last updated: 12 September 2026
These terms and conditions apply to the use of the Wavemakers website and to taking part in our services and activities. By using the website or registering for an activity, you agree to these terms. Please take a moment to read them. Any questions? Email us at info@wavemakers.nl.

- Email: info@wavemakers.nl
- Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 50324527
- RSIN: 812630178
- Wavemakers has ANBI status (a Dutch public benefit organisation). Read more on the ANBI page.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to:
- the use of this website and its content;
- registrations via the website, for example for Alpha, activities or membership;
- attending our services and activities;
- gifts to Wavemakers.
3. Use of the website
We do our best to keep the information on this website correct and up to date. Times, dates and locations of activities may change, however. No rights can be derived from the content of the website. If in doubt, you can always get in touch with us.
The website contains links to websites of others, such as YouTube, Instagram and Google Maps. Wavemakers is not responsible for the content or privacy policy of those websites.
You may not use the website in a way that harms Wavemakers or others, for example by sending spam through our forms or by attempting to damage the website or gain unauthorised access.
4. Texts, photos and logo
All texts, photos, videos, the logo and the design on this website are the property of Wavemakers or are used with permission. You may not copy, distribute or use them for other purposes without our written permission. Sharing a link to our website is of course always allowed.
5. Registering for activities and membership
- You can register for an activity or for membership through the forms on this website, via info@wavemakers.nl or at the information point on Sunday.
- You make sure the details you enter are correct and complete.
- A registration via the website is only final once we have confirmed it to you. We usually get in touch within a week.
- Most activities are free and without obligation. If a contribution is asked for an activity, this is clearly stated with the activity.
- Wavemakers may move or cancel an activity, for example due to too few registrations or force majeure. We will let you know as soon as possible via the website, email or our social media.
- Membership starts with an introductory conversation. Wavemakers decides on admission as a member in consultation with you.
6. Gifts
Gifts to Wavemakers are voluntary and are used for the work of the church: the Sunday services, the work among children and young people and our commitment to the city. As Wavemakers we give away 10% of the general gifts we receive.
- You can give via the account number or the payment link on the Give a gift page.
- Because Wavemakers is an ANBI, gifts are deductible within the rules of the Dutch tax authority. Wavemakers does not give tax advice; if in doubt, consult the tax authority or an adviser.
- A gift is in principle not refunded. Did you accidentally transfer the wrong amount? Contact us within 14 days and we will sort it out together.
- The payment link is provided through our bank. The terms of the bank and of your own payment method also apply to the payment.
7. Services, livestream and recordings
Our Sunday services are recorded and broadcast via a livestream on YouTube. Photos or videos may also be taken during other activities for our website and social media. As a visitor you may appear in them. Would you rather not be recognisable? Let us know at the information point or tell one of the team, and we will take that into account. We remove photos in which you are recognisable on request.
For children and young people we only take photos or videos for publication if their parents or carers have no objection.
8. Your data
We handle your personal data with care. How we do that, which data we keep and which rights you have, you can read in our privacy statement.
9. Liability
Wavemakers puts together the website and its activities with care. Even so, we cannot guarantee that the website is always available without errors or interruptions. Wavemakers is not liable for damage resulting from the use of the website, from incorrect or incomplete information, or from the website being temporarily unavailable, unless that damage is the result of intent or gross negligence on the part of Wavemakers.
Taking part in activities is at your own expense and risk, as far as the law allows. Please keep an eye on your belongings during services and activities.
10. Changes
Wavemakers may amend these terms. The most recent version is always on this page, with the date of the last change at the top. We will inform you of important changes via the website.
11. Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms. In the event of a dispute we will first try to resolve it together. If that does not work, the competent court in the Netherlands has jurisdiction.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms or about the website? Email info@wavemakers.nl, use the contact form or stop by the information point in the main hall on Sunday.
